Labyrinth

Tucked into a quiet corner of the property between the orchard and oak trees, the Labyrinth offers a peaceful space for reflection, movement, and quiet moments throughout your stay. The design was thoughtfully developed over several years by a retreat group frequently hosted at Scholls Valley Lodge, and was ultimately built by retreat guests as a gift to the property in 2022.

Unlike a maze, a labyrinth follows one continuous path that gently winds to the center and back out again. For centuries, labyrinths and meditation gardens have been used as spaces for mindfulness, reflection, prayer, and relaxation.

The Labyrinth is open to all guests staying on the property.

Each stay at Scholls Valley Lodge is arranged based on the needs of the group.

Depending on the size and structure of your stay, guests may have access to:

  • One primary lodge

  • Multiple buildings

  • Additional lodging spaces such as the bunkhouse or cabins

Access to specific areas is defined in advance to ensure a clear and private experience for each group.
