PAYMENT, DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION

At the time of booking half of the total payment is due and non refundable. The balance is due 14 days prior to the date of use. Failure to pay rental balance in a timely manner may result in the cancellation and forfeiture of your deposit. All cancellations are subject to a $15 cancellation fee. If guest cancels 14 or more days in advance, the initial payment is refundable. If cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to the event, the full amount is non refundable. The Scholls Valley Lodge will not provide a refund in the case of inclement weather or limited access to the facility for any reason. We suggest you get insurance to cover, illness or any other reason you may not move forward with the reservation.

ADDITIONAL FEES

You may incur additional fees for the following: 

  • If you come before or leave after your contracted time you will be charged $100 for every 15 minutes unless otherwise approved by the Scholls Valley Lodge Manager in writing.

  • Breach of term and condition issues on an individual basis.

  • If you ask to come in earlier than your check in time or leave later than your checkout time, you may be subject to additional charges. We have very specific cleaning and maintenance schedules in order to have the space looking it's best.

DELIVERIES

Deliveries must be made within the check in and check out times as listed on your reservation, unless prior arrangments have been made with SVL staff. If you are ship to us, you must notify us in advance.

PARKING & DRIVING

There is no parking, loading or unloading on the farm road behind the barn. There is no parking, loading or unloading in front of the cell tower. There are two available parking areas to be used as needed, Lot A and Lot B. It is critical that guests are aware of the boundaries of the parking areas, and that no neighboring properties are trespassed upon. The parking lots are uneven and sometimes may have large holes. Ensure that:

  • roads and drives are not blocked

  • there is no parking or driving on the green lawn causing damage to the sprinkler system

  • double parking does not occur

  • safe speeds are followed

PETS

PETS Pets are not allowed on the premises at any time. If certified service animals are expected, please notify the Scholls Valley Lodge ahead of time. Guests are allowed to be accompanied by service animals during a stay. SVL may qualify for an exemption in certain circumstances, such as the following:

  • If the service animal directly threatens their health or safety or increase the safety risk to the Host or others.

  • Fundamentally change the nature of an Experience or impact it for other guests

  • Require a structural modification to a building or property

  • Require SVL to take on added responsibilities that are time-intensive or put a significant physical or financial burden on them

  • Ask SVL to violate local laws or building requirements

A guest’s service animal must not be:

  • Out of control

  • Unhousebroken

  • Left alone at the listing without prior approval

  • Allowed into areas that are considered unauthorized to the guest

  • Allowed in a public space without being harnessed, leashed, or tethered and not under the guest’s control

NOISE

Scholls Valley Lodge requires quiet hours from 9:30pm - 8:00am. After 9:30 PM, no music or other noise may occur that can be heard more than 50 feet from the Lodge itself. Management may use a Decibel (Db) meter to measure sound levels.

SMOKING

Scholls Valley Lodge is a non-smoking facility. Absolutely no smoking is allowed inside any of the buildings on the property. In addition, no smoking is allowed within 50 feet of the Lodge itself. If not otherwise located and approved by the Scholls Valley Lodge representative, a smoking area is designated with signage behind the pump house. If cigarette butts are found on the property you will be charged $50 per cigarette butt.

FARMING AREA

 

The property is located in a farming area. All farming activities take precedence over any activities at the property. Any dust, noise, smell or other intrusion caused by farming in the area may not be complained of and will be tolerated.  

MISC.

  • Any guest leaving excessive trash in the main hall, kitchen, restrooms, lobby, and/or outside of doors is subject to additional charges.

  • Scholls Valley Lodge staff may enter any of the rented premises at any time on any occasion.

  • Scholls Valley Lodge reserves the right to take photographs of guest activities for its own records and for use in future advertising.

  • In the summer the sprinkler system cannot be turned off in order to keep the lawns green. They run daily between 11pm-8am.

  • Landscape maintenance schedules must not be interfered with and may start as early as 8am.

  • Outdoor activities must end no later than 10:00pm.

  • Scholls Valley Lodge retains no responsibility for items brought onto the property, or for any items not removed at the conclusion of the stay.

  • Electric power limitations do exist, please schedule accordingly.

  • We will be available for check in, check out and available as needed for any questions relating to the property. The Scholls Valley Lodge does not provide ladders, hammers, tools, etc.

  • You are using the space as is, the Scholls Valley Lodge does not take individual requests for adjustments to the property.
