The main floor of the Lodge is an ideal place for gatherings both large and small. While spaces like the library, with its comfortable seating, and the family room, with its full size antique slate top pool table provide for intimate and cozy gatherings, the Great Room, with the possibility of seating up to 80 at round banquet tables, or even more theatre style, is the perfect place to celebrate with family and friends. With the floor to ceiling glass doors open during the balmy days so common in the Tualatin Valley, the covered deck provides even more beautiful and very usable gathering space.
With its “bowling alley” island, the gourmet kitchen at Scholls Valley Lodge is the centerpiece of this unique property. As with any family gathering place, the kitchen in this beautiful property is truly a joy to cook and gather in. The site of many demonstrations and classes by some of the finest chefs and teachers, this kitchen is fast becoming one of the “go to” places for the development of fine cuisine in the Northwest.
